Alright, I'll oblige. 

Chronicle is what I like to call a "Realistic Super Hero Movie." In other words, you take the unrealistic idea of people with super powers, and try to portray that idea as realistically as possible. In this case, three teenage boys find themselves developing powers after coming into contact with a mysterious object, and as these powers develop over the coming weeks and months, they find themselves having trouble coping with all of the implications and complications that come along with these powers. 

The highest compliment I can give the movie is that it really nails the feeling of what the characters are going through. It is, in turns hopeful, hurtful, terrifying, thrilling, hilarious, giddy, and everything in between. I don't want to spoil anything, and I'm afraid that there is no way for me to really do this movie justice at all, so you're just going to have to trust me on this one. Chronicle is good. Go watch it.
