When Awesome Collides - Arrested Development and Periphery

Arrested Development is best thing ever. I am not going to narrow that down to best comedy show or anything like that. It is simply the best thing. If you have not seen it, you are failing.

"Who will save our village?!?"
Periphery have been among my favorite bands for the last two years or so (been following them for a while before that, but a few demos here and there wasn't enough to qualify a statement like that). If you haven't listened to them, I would highly recommend doing so, particularly if you are into things that are good (it also might help if you liked metal).

Connection between the two after the jump

Anyway, being such a big fan of both, I'm not sure how this escaped my attention for so long, but I just realized a relation between the two:
One of my favorite Periphery songs, "Jetpacks Was Yes!" gets its name from one of my favorite Arrested Development episodes, "Mr. F."

This makes me very happy.
Truth be told, there doesn't seem to be any special relation between the two, aside from the name, but that's alright. A lot of Periphery songs have weird names like that, since most of them were originally written as instrumental demos by Misha before they ever became full-band ventures. Whatever the case, knowing this still makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
